Sonata in X-Minorby h2Comment: I'm a violin player, so the X was kind of hard to see because I see it every day and I don't usually think of it as an X. Also, some of the shadows are too dark (a small part of the fingerboard and half of the tailpiece are completely black). I like the colors and it is tack-sharp. 7 |

A Twisted Perception of X in a Dream by franktheyankComment: A bit too noisy in the shadows (HDR will do that... I'm assuming it's HDR... it looks like it's HDR...), and the "X" IS kind of twisted. Nice colors in the sky, and the red is sexy. 6 |

Garden Spider by karenkComment: Whoa, there's something I didn't expect to see in this challenge. And especially this sharp. I don't think the shadows are deep enough, and the background is a bit too blurry. Gave it a 6 before, but it's growing on me. 7 |

xX Irony Xxby karmatComment: A little noisy, but good sharpness at the intersection and good DoF. I'm not getting the whole story, though... I feel like it needs something else. A setting, with either more thorny things or a fence or a few more rose stems (?) at varying degrees of sharpness... Anyway, it's a 6 from me. |
