Mesuring Up

It's a good concept, but I think you could have done a couple things to make this a little stronger. The image is overall very flat from a lighting standpoint. There's not a lot of contrast. I might have tried inching the camera up a little bit, and eliminating the very end of the board. And it might have been cool to have the first couple numbers in focus, leading to a fuzzy background, rather than having a couple random numbers in focus. Again, it's a nice idea -- you might toy with this concept a little more :)

My shot is rather similar, but I think your shot could have been stronger with a little more subtle lighting. It looks like you used the flash, which reflected quite strongly here.

I was eyeing up a brush at our house as I was scrambling for an idea. Now I'm glad I didn't bother -- yours would have been much better! :) I like the way it turned out. Without the title I may not have recognized it!

I may have been tempted to leave out the brown tile at the bottom -- I think the yellow rivots stand out enough on their own. I like the texture & shadows on 'em!

I like the use of B&W here, and how the shot tells a nice story. My only minor gripe is that I may have moved the teacher to the right window because the gutters of the building in the background seems to blend into her hair a bit too much. - 8

I've been staring at this shot for minutes, and I can't even think of a comment! I'm considering hanging this in my daughter's room, and I'll remind her every day that if she ever brings home anyone who looks like these people, she's in BIG trouble!! Quite a capture here, I must say!
