New Orleans Street Soulby Bernard_MarxComment: An interesting character study, but I'm betting this would have been much better without all of the processing. It looks like waaaay too much dodging and burning was done here, I'm afraid. |

Father and Sonby timmotykaComment: The shot itself is nice enough, but yeeeeeeesh... did you really have to do that to the border? |

Hand-offby msdoubletroubleComment: An ok action shot, but I thought I'd add some suggestions since sports photography is one of my favority things (I shoot Steelers games for a local newspaper). My first suggestion is to focus on the action. There's a bit too much clutter here in the form of players that aren't intregal to the scene. I'd probably make this a vertical shot of just the quarterback, and get rid of the guys on the right and left.
I think this would have been a bit stronger if we were able to see the running back, or whomever the ball is being handed to. As it is, it seems like it lacks a bit of punch since this isn't really a decisive moment of the game, and we can't clearly see any really good facial expressions. |

Tylerby mattmacComment: I'm betting you were a little aggressive with the shadows/highlights tool on this one. A little more contrast probably would have been better here. |

Up Hillby shudderbugComment: I'll bet this would do well as a stock image. Nicely done! |

Saturday at the Lakeby emaynerComment: Whoa. There are some serious compression issues here. Your shot is only about 20K when you could submit up to 200k for this challenge. The use of sepia seems gratuitous here, too, I'm afraid. I don't see how it adds to the shot; it makes it look like a muddy, dirty river. |
