Isinglassby NiallOTuamaComment: Oddly compelling! Great use of the muted color scheme and grungy texture overlay. |

lightness of beingby whiteroomComment: A bit characteristic of the Instagram genre, and very effective. The femme fatale fleeing the scene. Well done. |

Iby james_soComment: Strange, poignant, perhaps a bit on the unnerving side. Very nicely done with the text as the overlay. |

Reflectby nickybComment: Perhaps a bit too processed for some, but I like the frenetic chaos created. |

Visionby elsapoComment: You do realize it is entirely unfair when you are so very photogenic to begin with. The overlay of the grasses provides a nice frame (albeit not particularly enlightening in meaning, perhaps) and the grunge/texture is done with a nice light touch. It is, of course, the base portrait which serves this so very well. |

Airplane in Grungeby jaysonmcComment: I like the vastness of this, but am not sure I see the "grunge" of it - looks like a normal, lovely gray sky to me! |

Grungy-Cape-Bonavistaby WhebbComment: The lighting here comes across as very flat. I suspect a good kick in levels and or brightness would bring this to life a bit more. While the building itself looks a bit worn, it probably isn't grungy enough for this challenge. |

Grungy Flowerby RyanWComment: The flower doesn't look particularly grungy to me - more of a slight acid treatment perhaps? The fold is interesting, though I'm not quite sure what you were going for with that. A book, or a mirror, perhaps? |

Tuf Dekby BrianRComment: The picture kind of lacks substance to me - it's the bed of a truck with a bit of an overlay, but if there's more to the story it doesn't quite make it through. I kind of see a misty ocean in the distance with perhaps a road? I suspect if this is the story you wanted to tell, that less of the truck bed and more of the ocean would have made it easier to see. |
