You caught the bird with such a sweet look on it's face. With advanced editing, you could have removed a couple of the bright spots in teh background, but this is a nicely done picture.

The bad thing about these guys is they're ability to conceal themselves in their surroundings. He's quite the colorful character but he blends too well with his background. Maybe a much shallower DOF shot based on his head would provide a bit more separation. All that said, he's darn cute, and I like your choice of "wildlife".
