From the deepby puzzledComment: This was one I liked quite a bit - the lines and curves of the stairs/tubes make for a great shot all alone, but the timing to include the guy on the left and the people at the bottom is excellent! Very nice! |

The Street Performerby RikkiComment: Gotta say, Rikki, I really prefer this kind of excellent work than the glasses shots. Not that you don't do those well, mind you, but this is wonderful - and I live the stories that go with the pictures like this! |

A Man and His Harleyby timfythetooComment: I really liked the fact you got the rider's reflection in this shot, and I liked the red - it added a nice spark to the overall blue of the picture. Nice work - again! |

Kitty1.jpgby gustoComment: This is a great picture of one very gorgeous kitten!! Love the simplicity and the cool colors; lighting is just right, and focus is spot on for this shot. Very nice! |

A Mini Adventureby JHComment: The more I look at this, the better I like it, despite it being a toy shot. :-) Besides the DPC colors, which do indeed "work" here, the angles are good and I really like the shallow DOF which is well done here. I trust you suspended this somehow and didn't just keep trying til you got the focus right? :-) More sixes than fives - that's a very good thing! |

My mental leap in realising my challenge idea!by obsidianComment: Carl, this was definitely a unique idea but like you said, needed a bit better execution. I'm not sure most would "jump" to your conclusion, though - sometimes obvious is better if you're looking for a score. This would have had stronger impact if you'd used a black background instead of white - for one thing, it hides shadows, which can come in handy! Also provides more contrast. |

Jumping with Strings Attachedby Pug-HComment: I like the response to the challenge - definitely meets the definition and it's not the usual fare! Colors look good to me and about the only thing I can see that may have lowered the score is it seems just a tad unbalanced to me. He's got plenty of room to go forward but seems just a bit crowded on the left side of the picture - but with a long narrow subject like that, I'm not sure how to balance it better, either. |

Catching some air ...by CoozComment: I like the flare in this - I even like the background figure, which I found distracting in a couple of similar shots. It works here due to placement, size, and angle I think. About the only thing I'd change would be to have the hand in the picture. Very good shot! |

A True Black Beautyby olddjComment: Another good action capture. You may want to try this again when you can try motion panning to blur the background. |

Jump, Nippin, Jumpby jorrComment: This is a good capture of action but as someone else mentioned, would work better if the background were less busy to put more focus on the subject. Good looking dog! |
