Birth of a Vaseby BeetleComment: Definitely hot - hope you shot this with a long lens from a good distance away! |

Imagineby ArpeggioAngelComment: This would make a nice poster. Did you set this up or was it already this way when you found it? Nicely seen and captured! |

Bristol At Nightby obsidianComment: This is a GREAT vantage point for a night shot! The composition is excellent. You really should try this again and take it with several differing exposure lengths. Night shots tend to require less light than the camera tells you it needs. |

Jim Talin, Master Bookbinderby Bear_MusicComment: Very, very nice, Robert. Good to see a picture on your top row that doesn't have water or a skiff in it. :-) Note that you received only 2 votes 4 or below - that alone is an amazing stat. Masterfully done from the angle and lighting of the capture to the wickedly complicated post-processing - how do you know when you're done? |

Keeper of the Gameby timfythetooComment: I like the composition and color you captured here but I suspect some would have preferred the subject appear as though he knows he's being photographed. I'm sure you probably heard "looks like a candid" a few times. This shot does indeed, though, put the subject in his "environment" and quite the colorful environment it is! |

First, I really like the use of B&W in this picture - nice tonal range and clarity. I think this met the challenge well but I suspect some wanted the subject more posed and aware he's being photographed. |

Looking through the mirror...by KelliComment: Trading Post comment
I gave this a 6 in voting. I didn't see your comment in the forum, but I really liked the expressions on both the hairdresser and the customer. I also really liked that these are real people in real time, and the composition is very good. Other than the blur issue, you might have positioned yourself just enough to get rid of the light switch. I do like the poster behind the hairdresser - adds to the "environment". Hopefully you'll take a copy to your hairdresser - I'm betting she'll love it! |

IMG_7596_edited-2.jpgby tngrndreamComment: Very good colors and textures captured here. I like the little white blooms just off in the distance. The leaf in the lower right is a bit distracting but what can you do about them? Nice capture! |
