Sun or sliced ?by FocusPointComment: Abstract as I perceive abstract? Yes
Do I like it? This one does not appeal to me personally, but abstracts appeal to different people very differently.
Technicals? The very dark spot is what draws my attention first - then the gold section. The swirling pattern kind of keeps you in the picture. |

Alien Sucroseby otisXmikeComment: Abstract as I perceive abstract? Yes
Do I like it? Well, not really. Even with abstracts, there should be a "focus" or an impression you're conveying to the viewer - I'm not seeing anything cohesive here, but abstracts are often viewed very differently by different people.
Technicals? Colors are interesting, but the bright white parts detract for me. I think, for me anyway, it might have worked better with less of the blown white blobs and more of the color sections. |

Lasagna Bend Sinisterby 3eyedcrowComment: Abstract as I perceive abstract? Yep, definitely.
Do I like it? I do like the basic simplicity - works well as an abstract
Technicals? The only thing that bothers me is the lack of depth/texture/detail on the black side of the ridges - would have liked to see the same shadowing you have on the blue side. |

4418_720px_color.jpgby AzrifelComment: What I particularly like about this one (other than the model, of course) is that you have everything in crisp focus. Works very well in this picture! |

colorby anthonyczajaComment: Sorry - this has nothing to do with the challenge whatsoever. I suspect you're getting very low scores because of this. |

True loveby BrinComment: Abstract as I perceive abstract? Eh, not sure on this one. More of a creative use of a prop, but I'm not deducting for "not abstract".
Do I like it? The banana itself rather than the heart seems to be the focus - perhaps a slightly different composition to emphasize the heart - less of the banana, more of the heart?
Technicals? A little bright/harsh with the light, but not too bad. A red background might have accentuated your title a bit more. |

Brassica oleraceaby DigiFotoBuddyComment: Abstract as I perceive abstract? Yes
Do I like it? It's a bit too centered for my taste, I think.
Technicals? A bit weak - I'd expect the focus to be very sharp for a flat cut like this, and the contrast is a bit flat to me. |

reflectionby ralphComment: Abstract as I perceive abstract? Yes, but not sure where food comes into play. I'll assume it's involved somehow.
Do I like it? It's not bad, but it seems to lack cohesion - hard to explain, but it just doesn't convey anything in particular to me as a viewer.
Technicals? Technicals seem to be fine to me. |

Flowby brizmamaComment: Abstract as I perceive abstract? Yes
Do I like it? I do like it, but it feels a bit cramped for some reason - seems I want to see a bit more to the right of the picture.
Technicals? I can't find anything to suggest to improve on technicals. |

Cherry Redby tooterComment: Abstract as I perceive abstract? Not really an abstract to me (but I'm not counting off for that, either.)
Do I like it? Yes, I rather like the post processing on this. The composition works well, too. |
