Steam Loco - Dianaby trainComment: So sorry about the DQ but it is indeed a lovely image and will remain so despite the DQ. By the way, my sister's name is Diana so this is really cool! |

Rustic Charmby sherpetComment: I like the inclusion of the very blue water in the background. Really brings out the water element of the rust on the brace. Good job capturing the color and texture of the metal. |

Ropedby sherpetComment: Nicely seen, Shez. I like the textures of the rope and the jetty boards - makes for a very pleasing image! I like the shape of the shadow as well. |

The Habitby timfythetooComment: Very nice work, Tim. Almost top 10 and deserved to be higher. Lighting on the face is perfect and I like the blown-out flame as it draws the eye. Composition is dead on, too. Great shot! |

Eye on the Skyby Rae-AnnComment: I like it! I always like lines/patterns kinda shots, and what I like about this one (besides the really nice clear blue sky) is the addition of the bird amidst all the lines. In reading through the other comments, it's intersting that some liked the bird there, some didn't. Good to have you back shooting - now just avoid the tranny crack ho's, 'k? |

Escaping from the Canby chaliceComment: LOL! Really like the idea.. quite cute! The staging is good but the technicals are weak - looks a bit overexposed and grainy to me and probably could have used a bit more dramatic lighting. Still, I gotta admire the time and patience it must have taken to put peas on a paperclip. |

Bengal tigers playingby KelliComment: Neat shot! Nicely framed, very good color. Love the look on the right tiger - standard kitty-cat "I'm gonna kick your butt" look! |

Find the Deranged Jack O'Lanternby KelliComment: Last I checked, it probably wasn't cool enough to have an outdoor fire this time of year in New Jersey... the things we do for challenges. Unless of course it's a barbeque pit and there was food to be had!
Good job of capturing the flames. Composition-wise, the one log that goes diagonal across the upper part of the frame tends to draw the eye most, and the background leads one to believe this was taken mid-day (which I suspect it was). I'm betting it might have been more dramatic if shot at night. All told, though, pretty good job of capturing flame which to me is a lot harder than it looks! |

Swinging from the Heightsby KelliComment: What an odd looking little critter! I like the way you chose to shoot this to sort of frame him with the branches and leaves. Good color throughout. As for the challenge, it may have done better had you shot from a lower angle - doesn't look as much "up" as some might have been expecting, I'm guessing. And VERY good work without a flash in low light! He does look like he could use a good shampoo, though... :-) |
