Dinner Party - SP7by alfrescoComment: I agree with Mike - Cindi's may be technically better (well, if you like clean, crisp, perfectly lit and expertly processed photographs and such) but this one gets bonus points for originality and gritty execution. And the hat making a reappearance - that rocks. AND the fact you filed this under "Nude" in Galleries. Very nice, JP! Oh, and the black socks. Can't forget the black socks. |

SP2-Day-7-Poker Partyby idnicComment: Now I'm kinda embarrassed that I even tried it. (Sheepish grin icon goes here...) This is amazing! If there are errors, I sure as heck can't find them. How did you put it all together, by the way? Mask and erase? I like how you can even see the feet under the table from the Cindi in the back. Every Cindi is perfectly lit and in focus - did you re-focus each shot, and if so, how did you do that without disturbing the camera position?
I'll go back to snapshots of my feet, I think.... :-) |

stairsby bucketComment: I very much like them as companion pieces. Both have an incredible richness and vibrancy, and a timeless feel to them. Hopefully you're printing and hanging them as a set. |

Joyah Days Bay Aug 2006 21by joynimComment: This is one of my favorites. Try doing curves (similar to what someone else in the thread mentioned, a bit of levels (bring the slider on the right over to the left a bit - lightens up her face), then sharpen. All of these will pop a whole lot more with just the sharpening, too. Here's what I did with it, using what I mentioned above:
I'm not incredibly proficient with post processing so I'm sure it can be done much better.
Great shots of a gorgeous young lady! |
