I was so surprised that I didn't see this in the best of 2006 Challenge.
Had I taken this photograph, it would have been one of my first choices for an entry. |

The subtle desaturated tones, the shadows, the detail in the hands are perfect.
You captured a look in her eyes that to me, makes the whole image say "I'm going home". |
