Wonderful - as in full of wonder. The picture as a whole stands alone quite nicely, but what makes it so much better than just a picture is there's so much to see, so much to wander through, so much to wonder about.

Wow - after reading through the comments I have to wonder if we're all looking at the same photograph. I see nothing at all wrong with the "focus" and am pretty sure I don't want it deeper or shallower or closer to the viewer (and I am usually one who is disconcerted by OOF foregrounds.) In other words, I thought this was a darn fine take on the challenge. I also think it would make a great cover for a book.
