Indeed a delightful shot - I gave this a 7 and I've been suffering from landscape overkill lately so that's a very good score. What makes this better than the average DPC oversaturated landscape is a) it's not oversaturated, and b) the inclusion of the reeds and the snow in the foreground. Very nicely composed!

I just read the comments. I don't notice things like cropping at joints, which may explain why I suck. But they seem to be good comments - seems to be a shot that especially the guys liked. I also don't see it as flat - color and contrast seem to be fine on my monitor.

I like the images formed by the broken windows - not only is there a bat, but there's a bird in the lower one. Nice what looks to be either early morning or evening light.

I'm one of those that also likes harshish lighting scenes, where the light plays on the subject, so I liked this one. I did think the blue was a bit strong, but what I liked best was the cat's eyes and the way he was looking at you, it seems! I think the composition is strong as well.

I liked this quite well, actually. Nice, quiet, calm picture. Most of your commenters point out the need for better light on the apples themselves - I agree with that. Basic composition is there, tone (feeling) is there - just a bit needed in the light department maybe. Still, I gave it a 6 and like the muted, soft overall color.

Apparently you should have cut down the tree. :-) Colors in this are wonderful - you did a really good job of capturing the light at that time of day. Very good detail on the structure as well!

I gave this a 7. One of the landscapes I liked because of the contrasts - not in tones, but in content - the ducks, the trees, the serenity, and the city in the background. Thought it quite well done, actually.
