Darraghby BrookiedComment: The eyes have it - I love the sly little look toward the camera. Very nice use of natural light and the shadow it creates - adds depth and texture to the shot. Here's an idea to try - try a square crop starting from the bottom up. It'll cut off the top of the head, but will put the eyes on a "third" line. Gives it a different feeling - a bit more power, maybe. It's really a very nice shot and I suspect it would have scored fairly well. As I said to begin with - you got the "look" - and to me, that's what makes it good. |

where the green grass growsby ShannonLeeComment: What lovely use of natural lighting. Just goes to show that a lot of light is out there even when you think it isn't. Great color in this. |

Mixed Upby -Bec-Comment: This is priceless - not only is your daughter a cutie (and gonna be a serious heartbreaker as she gets older) but she has her mom's delightful sense of whimsy, it seems! Love seeing these. |

hdr-fence.jpgby fordmanf1Comment: I think this is a very pleasing result. Definitely brings out the texture/shadows of the fence and has warm rich but not overly done color to it. Not sure about the dark parts of the sky, but I've had a hard time getting skies to work out well in HDR unless they're absolutely perfectly exposed in the first place. Keep at it - it's fun, isn't it? |

silhouette.jpgby guillermo21Comment: I'm a sucker for cat shots. I really like the slight turn of the ears - so very "cat" - you know? Nice, striking shot. |

The Last Castleby jdannelsComment: I'd have never guessed it was a night shot, but did wonder about the blur of the palms. That made me think "long exposure" but it looked so much like daylight I was stumped. Well thought out to "see" this in the dark! |

What's Left of Me - Nick Lacheyby Art RoflmaoComment: I can't believe you disassembled a Woody for this! Oh the horror! Did you at least put him back together again, the poor broken man? Really a very good shot Ken - you have an amazing knack for generating emotion with these guys. |

Mandyby griz210Comment: A sweet, natural, warm portrait. It may need a bit more in lighting but you got the important part, and that's passing along a bit of the person's personality. |
