Black Widowby Jaded_HousewifeComment: You do know you look like you're about 14 in this shot, right? Innocent yet so very not so. Love red and black, but I think I've said that before. And you do have so many different looks - wear a nametag for the GTG this summer so I'll know who you are. :-) |

Do you ever Wonder?by Jaded_HousewifeComment: Dang, woman, not only do you have the most gorgeous eyes, you have incredible lips. I'd say I hate you but darn it all, I don't. Powerful series here. |

B@W portrait outtakeby Jaded_HousewifeComment: Ya know, I'm not sure but I think I like this one even better. Has both an innocence and a hauntingly "knowing" feel about it. I do like it better. But that doesn't mean I don't like the entry, you know - and this might not have scored as well - it's a "take a minute and really look" kinda shot. |

Vasesby WinkComment: The clean curves and cool tones work nicely in this. I like the composition as well. |

Sidney pier, Winterby WinkComment: Very nice perspective and lines in this. I'd love to tell you how to make the sky a bit less grainy-ish near the bottom but I've yet to figure that out myself. I like the overall gray, wintery feeling this imparts. |

Darraghby BrookiedComment: The eyes have it - I love the sly little look toward the camera. Very nice use of natural light and the shadow it creates - adds depth and texture to the shot. Here's an idea to try - try a square crop starting from the bottom up. It'll cut off the top of the head, but will put the eyes on a "third" line. Gives it a different feeling - a bit more power, maybe. It's really a very nice shot and I suspect it would have scored fairly well. As I said to begin with - you got the "look" - and to me, that's what makes it good. |

where the green grass growsby ShannonLeeComment: What lovely use of natural lighting. Just goes to show that a lot of light is out there even when you think it isn't. Great color in this. |
