I think this will work out nicely - good pic to start with. Maybe a crop to focus a bit more on the lovely lighting in the center and a bit of saturation to bring out the color? Great blue of the sky and the reflection!

I agree - Arthur suits him nicely. I like the light, the shadows, the shapes (triangles, circle), the hints of a story forward (Arthur's story) and one behind (unclear whose story that might be). Do you find locations like this then wait for the picture to come to you, or do you just happen to stumble upon stuff like this?

Yep, a square crop yeilds an interesting result as well, but then you lose the extraordinary against the ordinary backdrop kinda thing you've got going.

I like the composition alot with the leading circles forming a leading line to the steps. Just the right touches of green here and there, too, particularly on the stones. Probably not scoring as high as you might like due to "technicals" but it's a good picture.

Strainer of the Fractured Arc

Very nicely done, from the oddly shaped shadows cast below the strainer to the slight bit of color in the reflection and the design that forms. Nifty kitchen abstract art kinda thing.
