Opened up an old clock back, one 250 watt light about 8 feet away diffused, camera on tripod at same height as clock. Took a few shots then realized the pendulum wasn't hung. Knowing how nit picky some can be (like the metronome shot) I hung the pendulum and reshot.

why when we think about time we often think about something technical? mechanical? maybe because mechanical things go almost "always" and their stability reflects the stability of time? and we are also used to think about time as dots, as punktum, as something 1-2-3, boom-boom-boom, strikes, and not the continuum. quite interesting, isn't it?
