Minimal Edit PAD 7 "Shrimpers"by noranekoComment: The sky is a bit blah in this one, isn't it? But skies don't always cooperate with us (I'm getting used to a lot of gray here). I think your editing will have to be based on what you wish to focus on with this shot - what do you want to show? As shot, I'm not sure whether the focus is the gentlemen or the larger boat with it's reflection. |

Lelaby HipychikComment: I like your choice of a square crop - it suits this very well! |

MinimalDay6.2Web2.jpgby cogeroxComment: What a lovely scene! I don't know that it needs much editing at all (which means you achieved the objective quite nicely!) But don't overdo the sky if you do edit it - the soft colors are quite perfect just the way they are. |

DAY 1. edited. perspective .by rozComment: Very interesting edit! I like that you had a different "vision" of your shot and then worked to achieve it. As for colors being different on DPC, if you shoot in RAW, you need to "convert to profile" to sRGB from the native format. This will make the colors appropriate for the web. It's an option in Photoshop under "Edit". |

Placeboby meyersComment: If you'd titled it "The Power of Prayer", there would be no controversy. Or would there? And yet the picture still represents a valid "alternative medicine" choice - many do choose the power of prayer, regardless of their religion. Whether or not it works, well, that's not for the photograph to say. Or is it? Nicely done! |
