I really like the concept and the execution of this - very well thought out and definitely one you'll want to frame and hang for the sentimental value. I think the only thing I would have changed would be to have lit the lantern if possible (which you may be able to do in post processing, but I'm not smart enough to tell you how). I love the dress, and I like the dark, aged look of the tones.

I like how your edit brought out the detail on the church - very good work there! I think the sky may be a bit too blue but not by a whole lot. And there's something in the clouds just right of the steeple - it may be a bird, but you may want to clone it anyway. Very nice work on this!
