Very good image for this challenge. I like the layout, the color, the moving hand (definitely emphasizes the Pop use of turntables these days), and the composition. And it's kinda cool to see a turntable to begin with. Nicely done.

I like this. I like the stopped action of both performers and I find it fun to look at the reactions of the faces in the crowd. Nicely balanced composition, too.

Been meaning to get back to this one to comment. What I really admire about your work is your vision/goal and your ability to execute (and execute very well, I might add) that goal. I very much appreciate you taking the time to outline how you did this, too. It was one of my top picks in the challenge. Nice mood of isolation created here, though I don't perceive it as sad - just solitary in a kind of content sort of way.

Normally, shots of stuffed toys don't go over well. This one, however, is dead on for the challenge and well done. Good choice picking the sad-eyed ones, good DOF choice, and excellent reference to a craze gone quiet. I do wonder what happens to all those poor things. And here they are, begging for food... (Great idea, great execution.)

Without the title, I'd consider this an entry in the Color Portrait challenge - very good portrait, lovely color, nice work on the "make the eyes sparkle" bit. Add the sunglasses, the title, and voila, pop culture!
