Drink Sellerby EricKohComment: Love the bubbles! Nice addition to the picture - very nice street candid. I don't do as many of these as I used to and I miss it. |

Peek a Booby ladpupmoeComment: Lovely texture in the bloom. Texture is one thing that draws my eye. Very bright and "happy", too - gives off that vibe to me. |

Mo' buttons for Melethiaby CyrildaComment: One thing about being old and working on being senile, is I can't remember crap - I do seem to recall that I did shoot buttons but I don't think they went into a challenge. My mom had boxes and boxes of buttons and when she died, my sister and I each took some. This reminds me that I still have boxes of buttons somewhere and I really ought to do something with them! Nice collection here, by the way. And I like the monochrome and the toning, both are very much "me". |

In the Jungleby MaryOComment: Sometimes we forget that even though they're "housecats", they're still hunters. that's the feel I get from this. I like the bokeh of the grass in the background, too. |

A Day at the Beachby Art RoflmaoComment: Awesome view for a day at the beach! I like the conversion - works very well in B&W. I like that there's so much to see - the dogs on the left, the guy gesturing on the bench. Looks like it may be an HDR since there's a ghosted arm and a ghosted dog head, but that's kinda fun - I don't mind it at all! |

Breakfast Interruptusby RKTComment: I LOVE that outstretched open-toed paw. I love it when my kitties do that. It's just the sweetest thing, isn't it? |

Holiday ... | ... Work by MatthewComment: Originally posted by Matthew: Originally posted by Melethia: This is fascinating to me - how did you do this? |
Hi, I trimmed half my beard, tidied half my face, and untidied the other. I draped a work shirt over one shoulder. I set up a single soft box, on one side.
My wife pressed the shutter, and I post processed by setting up two different white balances and tones, masking one half to get the two tone look. |
Thanks! I was wondering how you got the different tones. Very clever! I appreciate the explanation.
