A Universe Inside My Glass

My first reaction is that the composition is awkward and the tonal values are muddy. On second glance, I am distracted by the many specular reflections and distinctly put off by the foam circle in the glass, which looks like nothing so much as a growing colony of mold :-)

The OOF handle on the left is a real problem here. Besides being OOF, the cropping of it is so arbitrary, especially the truncated curve at the bottom. I'm not impressed with the tabletop material either, which looks downright bilious to me.

So my overall impression is distinctly "blecch", which I gather is what you're asking me to say :-) Be careful what you ask for!
