Love the way you captured the light in the top left corner in this one. Brilliant exposure. And the composition is quite majestic. Great photo.

Please be happy. This is, by far, the best interpretation of Zen in this challenge. Thanks for this beautiful photo.

Outstanding image, one of my top picks. I'm surprised it didn't do better, Ursula.

Take the man out and it would have been better

A really "Insignificant" subject and a wonderful background makes of a great Zen photo. I like everything about this photo but for the title. The man does not seem to meditating. This picture is perfect example of Zen "style" of art and it did not needed any title to communicate this. I feel a little more of saturation of subject's cloths and using more appropriate title would make this even better. Goodluck.8.

Looks like a lovely pleace to meditate! The colours feel a little muted to me and I would like to have seen more of the lovely water. 7

Nice shot - pity you couldn't get that guy to move out of the way...

A very mystical and serene setting, and an excellent representation of it. Nicely done!

There is something that is not right about this picture...maybe it's the man. He seems to break the harmony of the scene. But i do like the concept.

Very lovely image. I like the emphasis on scale here and I think there is a nice zen to the photo. The way you handled the natural lighting is superb. I like the tone and colors as well. Focus seems good but a little soft and yet I think that works. Though I think the image as is works just great, I do think if you were to actually crop out the entire bottom portion to just below that rock outcropping on the right side, I'd love the image even more. There is a soft, ethereal feel to that portion of the image that I think is absolutely gorgeous. But that's just me and maybe it would be worth exploring at the end of the challenge. Great entry. I gave a 7 and a favorite for that top portion. :D

Nice photo. To me, and I find myself saying this often, the bystander detracts from the image. This shot of nature perfectly meets the challenge of presenting a still, serene scene. The guy in there adds nothing and distracts the eye. Would also have liked to see a bit more blur on the waterfalls to really nail the dreamy feeling already established by the light coming through that fog. Composition is great, nature gave you some perfect lights. Very nice. 5.
