Seductive Contrastby Blue MoonComment: It's a very nice image :-) I'm not sure what you mean by "added the litho effect"; if you mean you used one of photoshop's filters, the litho filter, then it's not a basic-editing legal shot anyway and it's a good thing you missed the challenge. If you did the effect yourself by playing with curves and levels, that's a different story. But depending on the original image, it is also possible you'd have run afoul of the major elements rule. If the BG was white to begin with, you're probably fine there. |

The Championby bryanbrazilComment: A nice shot. I wish you'd leveled it up visually; everything seems to be running downhill to the right. |

Environmental Portrait by spydrComment: Killer nice macro. The leaf sprouting from the hopper's head is a bit of a liability, but overall very nice :-) |

Mud and Gritby MudHutComment: Unfortunate truncation of foot and bicycle at the bottom really hurts this otherwise spectacularly-rendered scene. |

Jennieby LeokComment: The OOF, pink foot on the left distracts from this otherwise very interesting study of light & shadow. |

Shallow Waterby artvetComment: I like the composition. I'd like to see the image rendered with more density in the sand/mud, though; it comes across a little flat. |

Port Doverby rileyComment: This is very nice. I like the tonalities & colors of it. It's interesting how it *appears* not to be quite leveled up, even though a guideline check of the actual horizon shows us ti is level. This is because the jetty is deviating by such a small amount from true horizon level. Getting up a little higher (a foot or two would suffice) would separate the jetty from the horizon a fair amount and help clear up this ambiguity. Still and all, a nice shot :-) |
