Lake Autumnby gocComment: It's lovely the way the grass fronds are leaning in towards the center to accentuate the triangular nature of the dominant composition. It's sort of "leading shapes" instead of "leading lines". The touch of mist on the water in the background is a sublime grace note. I'm less enthusiastic about the dominance of the foreground. I understand what you're after, but there's a little too much of it IMO. I'd crop up to just under the left end of the near stick, I think, but it's a tough one. Nice shot, whichever way :-) |

Scenic Overlookby MaryOComment: Bad color throw to green in the near-horizon sky and the high clouds mars this otherwise very serene image. |

Mountain Pineby briantammyComment: That's sweet :-) Very striking image. I'd have considered applying a smidgeon of gradient to the sky from the top down to contain it a little, but that's just my style really. |

boleroby ursulaComment: Great work, Ursula. I'd have placed it even higher, but for an abstract shot 7th is pretty good :-) |

Buck & Bokehby hahn23Comment: Man, that's classic! Looks almost like a diorama in a natural history museum, it's so pure :-) |

Two's Company.....!by JudiComment: Cool shot! Never would have known it's yours, what with no red hair or unclothed flesh on display :-) |
