Troubleby EvanHComment: You did a hell of a job on this Evan. It would be right at home in the new "experts" challenges :-) I am assuming the hot spot of light on the blade was added, and that the "reflection" is a separate image pasted /blended in? I don't see how the "reflection" can be real, considering the angle of the knife. I'd love to know how you did it. This is a wonderful piece of work, the processing and the lighting are just excellent. |

The Street Vendor by CutterComment: That is EERIE, strange PP. It almost has a sense of being a stage set with a B/w backdrop, I expect the vendor to burst into song. Oddly enough I was looking for "my" hotdog vendor to shoot him in a similar scene except a natural backdrop, but he's folded up for the winter :-)
Can't make up my mind to hate it or love it, which is all-in-all a good thing. I think it would work better for me if the reds were a little more muted, but I'm not sure. Arresting image, anyway, and into the 6 group for holding. |

last of the corner shopsby MichaelCComment: I love the processing here, myself, takes it into a whole different category. Will the voters? Who knows? Thumbs up from me. |

"Burger, Fries, and Coke..."by tfarrell23Comment: Gawd, I miss In 'n Out! The single thing I miss most about California... I wish the tilt on this were not so extreme, and that the burger had a little breathing room on the left. Also, there's an unfortunate tangence between the rim of the cup and the top of the divider that could have been avoided to great benefit. The color balance and tones are spot-on, and that wasn't easy to do. It's crisp and dynamic, which is good. Goof luck with it, I like it! |

Absentby MrXpressComment: Personification of the grim reaper in modern sweats :-) I like it very much, I'd have placed it over mine actually. Congrats on top 10! |

Shipwreckedby wisieComment: This is very nice! Congrats on top 10. In another challenge it might even have done better; while I don't doubt your personal relating of this image to "death", I am sure many people thought it was a fairly tenuous interpretation. |
