Let me be the first to comment on your portfolio. This is actually a refreshingly different approach to the classic "egg cliché" image. I like the sense of mass, so at odds with the actual delicacy of eggs.

You've taken too much color out of the sky and snow and amped it up too much on the rock face, IMO. I've spent a lot of time there, and this just looks wrong to me. In a more realistic rendering, this would be stunning.

Angles of Repose

It's interesting: "Angle of repose" is a term used by geologists to denote the angle at which the rubble ("scree") lies at the base of a mountain or other geological formation. Differing sizes and/or textures of scree will have different angles of repose, the angle at which they stop rolling downhill and hold their position.

So, to me, the title doesn't seem "right", albeit it sounds very good. Are you familiar with the great Wallace Stegner novel of the same title? Anyway, I doubt more than a couple people would even notice this, and it doesn't affect my vote, this is just a chatty sidebar tot he image. It's a hell of a nice shot :-)
