This one almost killed me! I had my son all lined up to be the model and he we were going to use the bath tub. The wife refused to let us make the likely mess that this would produce. So, enter the hot tub. But, then the son bagged as he refused to open his eyes under water in the hot tub. Next in line to model - me. That provided quite a challenge. I hit the 10-second timer, jumped in the tub, grabbed as much air as possible and tried to get under water before the click. Then out of the tub to check and try again. Focusing was impossible. The son was smarter than me as my nose is burning and my throat is completely raw from the 500 gallons of hot tub water I consumed!

Not done yet used two shop lights clipped on the deck railing for light and it is always fun to combine water and electricity! Extension cords everywhere.

Many will hate the over processed look and lack of focus. However, all I wanted in focus was the one hand (no, really) and the over processing was intended to match the nature of the song.

I should at least get some sort of ribbon for effort and stupidity!

Hmm i kinda like this i think. the boarder doesn't seem to go well with this though. I dunno something about this i dont much like though i just cant figure out what. Maybe a little more "texture" in the water, that is if it were a little "choppier"(if thats a word) it would add something to this. Around the guys stomach theres not alot going on, it just looks blurry. I dunno, maybe im just rambling

A very well set-up shot. I love how strong the form of the subject is, despite all the details being lost to the haze of the water. Very well executed.

Is that a sheet of frozen ice over your head? Eek! Great idea!

Cool effect. I think this would have gotten a point or so higher without the holes in the jeans, which just look silly, and reveal a pose that really doesn't match the position someone would be in if they were drowning under the ice. 7
