Far Away by John WhiteComment: Outstanding. By far the most evocative of the "Far Away" entries I have seen so far. I am returning to this and am still troubled by the slightly off-level horizon, but no matter. Beautiful gradient, wonderful star :-) |

CRAZYby JPRComment: Excellent! Beautifully moody, really intense. |

Dirty Little Secretby 99PercentComment: This is quite compelling. I am back to bump it. I fear it's not WOW enough for the usual crowd, but in my book it's very tautly put together and extraordinarily metaphorical. It would display to great advantage as a large print I imagine. Love the truncated foreground and right edge figures. |

what's left of meby annahComment: This is outstanding, if somewhat macabre. It will test the voters' tolerance for the metaphorical or symbolic. How many will see the heart torn out, the voice silenced? Good luck to you. I'm in a similar boat (the metaphorical boat) and am scoring well so far (knock on wood) so good luck to us :-) |

Eggsby GreetmirComment: Let me be the first to comment on your portfolio. This is actually a refreshingly different approach to the classic "egg cliché" image. I like the sense of mass, so at odds with the actual delicacy of eggs. |

Emerald Lake, Tahoe, Caby cogeroxComment: That would be Emerald Bay on Lake Tahoe, I believe :-( And if I recall correctly, Wizard Rock. It's a beautiful place, isn't it? |

Snow Day in Yosemiteby TDCollinsComment: You've taken too much color out of the sky and snow and amped it up too much on the rock face, IMO. I've spent a lot of time there, and this just looks wrong to me. In a more realistic rendering, this would be stunning. |

Here's looking at you kidby Elvis_LComment: What an incredibly garish border! I suppose this is your 20th comment on it :-) Trying to figure out what the shot is OF is a nice puzzle. Hell of a tack-sharp ultra-macro. |
