Pure Joyby JarinWComment: Gorgeous tonalities. I'd have used "curiosity", not "joy"; I don't get a sense of joy at all here. |

Pure Insanityby dannyleeComment: The haloing of figure/wings against sky is really hurting this very engaging image. |

Pure & Innocentby TerramarComment: really nice image, metaphorically. One of the few "innocent child" shots that raises above the obvious and engages me intellectually. Of course,t hat's probably the kiss of death. Good luck! |

Pure Pleasureby veggieComment: Nice shot in many ways, but the ashtray is hideous, at least IMO. I'd love it with a white ashtray, or a simple design anyway; what you actually used is competing with the key elements. Be nice if you'd squared the ashtray up with the image edge also... |

pure theatreby ZILAComment: Theatre or ballet? I'd have thought the latter... Not affecting my vote though... |

Pure Love - Mother and Childby NobodyComment: A little work with shadow/highlight, or its equivalent, would do wonders to bring out the faces here and greatly improve what's a very nice shot of mother and daughter |

Pure Colorby oddsockjrComment: way, way, WAY dark; what happened? Color that dark is anything but pure... |

pure beautyby yankoComment: Really nice tonalities, really nice bordering. To my eyes, however, you've given too much picture area tot he BG; I want the flower to be more prominent, so I can glory in every detail of it. When I expand this to 600 horizontal (which would mean a squarish crop) it works MUCH better for me. |

Pure Waterby artvetComment: Nicely presented, if a bit lifeless for my sensibilities; the water is completely frozen, the fish is slumping, there's no sense of stop-ACTION at all. This isn't a flaw, exactly, but the whole image seems technically excellent and emotionally void to me, it's not really grabbing em at all. The fish looks distinctly bummed out, which kind of undercuts the idea of purity in a strange way; were he being more active, the image would work better for me. |
