It is difficult to say the water is the "subject" here; most would say the figures are I think, and they don't "fill the frame". Lovely image though.

This is beautiful. I am especially taken by the slight blurriness of the topmost wing feathers, adding a grace note of suspended motion to this otherwise crystal-sharp image. Lovely PP also.

I'm having fun with the tone mapping on these. I'm doing it real quick 'n dirty. Everything was backlit basically, cuz of the geography of the pier, so... I don't think Brad's mapping, but I am not sure.

Levy, I'm pretty sure those are BIRDS. I magnified the image, and a lot of the "spots are birds for sure :-)
