Tones are lovely, POV is striking, overall sense of power & menace is excellent, but the image loses so much by having the BG bridge. I know you didn't have any optiosn to speak of, but it's just too bad :-(

This is very sweetly rendered, but it's marred, in my eyes, by a distinct lean to the right. It's as if you rotated to level the implied horizon of the shoreline and the trees and the lamp posts went off vertical. For what it's worth, you can "level" shots like this with the skew tool: working from this version, just skew upper left corner to the left and bring the trees into alignment. Or rotate original to align trees and skew down on the right to level the shoreline if you need to; I'm not sure it's required that the shoreline be pure level, though...

It's a lovely shot, great sense of vitality and movement. I wish you'd named it something else, because they are NOT "soaring" it seems to me, but that's really neither here nor there.

Cool! I kinda wish you'd added a tad of gradient fromt he top to contain things a little; my eye keeps wandering up and out, and that's not optimal. Lovely light, lovely processing of the main subject(s).
