Nothings Left Any Moreby JulietNNComment: Outstanding. Completely allegorical in all aspects, the framing, the substance, the rendering. Beautifully done. Major bump on second pass, good luck! |

Innocenceby shaislipComment: The texture here is startling, even eerie. Excellent PP, wonderful capture. |

Late Shoppingby OmniComment: Absolutely outstanding, beautifully rendered. This one came up right next to "Lost in Time" in my voting queue, and what a pair of bookends they made.
It's just a personal reaction, but for me there's a palpable, even aching sense of loneliness emanating from this image. Bumping on second pass, and good luck. |

Lost in Timeby CharleneComment: I want to see into each of these windows. I want to read the playbill (or menu? whatever) in its display. I want to listen in as the lovers murmur. I want to be in this place and of this time. |

The Thawby violinist123Comment: I spent half a winter trying to take an ice image that would do what this one does. I failed. You succeeded. Beautiful work. |

Bending Downby ryandComment: This is just wonderful, it seems to capture, utterly, the quirky essence that is "giraffe". The disconnected neck, the dependent head, are just SO right :-) Good luck with this. |

Abbazia di Sant'Antimo by GordonComment: What a startlingly different take on Tuscany's most beautiful Benedictine Abbey. The luminosity of this is so in keeping with the spirit of reaching towards the Lord that will have informed this holy place from the beginning.
I'm sure you're getting hammered by the voters, and that's understandable I guess, but a little sad. I'd like to think that anyone who knows this palce, has visited it, will understand and appreciate this iage. |

Beginning Ascentby ShakaComment: Or is it descent? There's a primal ambiguity here. The richness of the ground is nearly hypnotic, strangely enough. Excellent image. |

Friend Says "Hello"by ForcetComment: Oh... My... GOD...! Can't wait to hear how you managed this. I'm assuming this is a Robber Fly, btw? You're in my high-seeded group prior to the bumping round, incidentally. |
