Nightmare #13by KelliComment: Oh heck, this ain't even in the same LEAGUE of overprocessing as my tomato! :-) Those eels freak me out too; I've dived on '[em, and they always scared me. |

-oil-derrick-by sfaliceComment: You're just going to town, aren't ya? Check out my tomato a bit further up the thread :-) I love this kinda stuff, though I don't do it much. I did have a shot at it with my "rock song" entry... |

green.jpgby fldaveComment: To my eye you've gone a bit too far with the flattening of tonalities, a common problem with Topaz and Tone Mapping in general. Not only does the image lose depth or dimensionality, but you're creating artifacts, blocky areas, in the deep shadows. I'd try backing off a bit on this one, myself. On the plus side, the greens are outstanding, and there's a lot of luminosity coming up. |

The Face in the Seaby colorcarnivalComment: One of the things Topaz does best is pull out detail like this, so in that sense the image is wildly effective. Talking in terms of composition and all that good stuff, it's a little chaotic, but what the hey! |

topaz-tulipsby poserComment: Seems tol me you're coming up with WAY too many artifacts here for this to be successful. I'd be happy to have a go at it and see what's possible if you could point me at the arge, original file. |

Winter Graveyardby Bear_MusicComment: Originally posted by Bear_Music: Originally posted by Ecce Signum: Top notch work here Robt and the post processing finishes it off well, is the vignette added? I'm yet to take a shot with a vignette. |
Some of the vignetting is due to extreme tilt closing off corners; the rest is added to balance it out. I left an "opening" in the vignette lower right because that seemed to work better. |
