1-dec 09 whatever. Long Legged Fly & Eggs?by rozComment: Some types of flies do carry their eggs until they hatch, yes. And some types of fly eggs are orange. In fact, there's a fishing fly pattern that emulates a fly carrying orange eggs, I forget the name of it now. Furthermore, some flies actually carry the eggs INSIDE their bodies until the hatch into maggots, then expel the maggots directly instead of laying the eggs. So there's a lot of approaches in the insect kingdom... |

Tag Heuer Close Upby wibingComment: An image like this can only work well if it's as sharp as a tack, which this, unfortunately, is not. It *is* a nice design, however... |

Filling Spongebob's Noseby howiegrapekComment: LOL. That's an utterly-out-of-the-box take on the concept "macro"... I guess you're doomed... It would be fun to see this finish anywhere in the vicinity of 6, so I'll get you started with a 7 :-) |

Angry faceby marcusvdtComment: Ah, I shoulda' commented on this one earlier, sorry. I gave you a 9, I think it's a fabulous shot. I'm the "other boat snout" in this challenge, and you whipped my butt. I love this image, and I'm delighted to see it garner a PB for you. |

Woodland Trailby PaulComment: This is very well done. One doesn't have to live in (or visit) exotic locales in order to create evocative landscapes. I think this is an exceptional study, and beautifully understated in the processing. |

pied beautyby posthumousComment: For rose moles all in stipple upon trout that swim, fresh firecoal chestnut falls, finches' wings...
I was actually hoping to encounter a trout in this challenge :-) I quite like this, however. |
