The Journey Beginsby brayburnComment: I think this is fabulously moody, and the title really works in synergy with the image. I gave it an 8, I'm disappointed it didn't fare better for you. |

the line of beautyby posthumousComment: I quite like it, yes. I hadn't an inkling it was yours, however, which a lot of the time I do except much of the time I don't... Anyway, apropos an earlier comment, sometimes it's OK to see a goose that isn't cooked, although typically they are geese-in-flight (good) pr geese-pecking-arses (bad). :-) |

Street Photographyby MelethiaComment: Oh, hah! This is yours! I gave it an 8, I think it borders on the believably surreal, if that makes any sense. Great job, Deb! |

Aweby LevTComment: Might have expected this to finish higher, personally, but that ain't bad for a man in a road in the desert, eh? Love the shot, gave it an 8. |

cata hariby skewsmeComment: This got an instant 9 from me. It's remarkably evocative. The placement, of course, is crater city but I doubt you care :-) |

Paddle Faceby glad2badadComment: This one got a 9 from me :-) Glad it did *relatively* well for ya, considering the nature of the thing. Well done! |

Navajo Spirit Risingby Ja-9Comment: The thing of it is, over and over and over and over again we see antelope canyon shots that are just so mundane, *for that place* that they make me weep. Mediocre light, clumsy processing, cliched point of view, the whole litany. But shot properly, it's a place of exaltation.
Your shot captures this sense of the place, extremely well, and I'm glad the voters recognized that.

The House on the Hillby SandyPComment: Very nicely done, got a 9 from me. Might want to correct the info though, its "Hecata Head", not "Haceta"... |
