Dowagerby GermaineComment: Yes, it's a Shooting Brake, and it's a Rolls Royce. Helluva vehicle. Properly, a Shooting Brake is a 2-door with a rear hatch, but the Rolls variety often had 4 doors. Here's another example:

Little Bugger!by KelliComment: Way, way cool cicada shot :-) It may be accidental, but it's accidentally awesome, the textural interplay. |

Playing with the Fishiesby KelliComment: That's the Arawana, Kelli. The Pacu looks like a piranha. Both are centerpiece fishes for Amazon river aquarium displays. Really nice shot. |

The West Wall by Brent_SComment: This is by far one of the more intriguingly tactile images I've seen of the Disney. The colors are to die for, it's beautifully rendered. It's actually my top pick in what, for me, is a very weak challenge.
That said, I'm a little put off by the title, and here's why: in the Judeo-Christian cultural tradition, Jerusalem's "Western Wall" (aka the "Wailing Wall") is one of the holiest sites in the world. To the extent that this title calls up allusions to the Jerusalem wall, it's a little perturbing, and I can only assume you wouldn't want those allusions to be there.
Very likely I'm the only one that feels this way, though, and in any case it doesn't affect my scoring, it's just an observation. |

orange houseby nicktonComment: I know yer gonna get hammered, but this is immensely appealing to me as a piece of utterly unpretentious documentation. The dog's a wonderful grace note. |

Touringby GermaineComment: Beautiful luminosity and tones, great spatial ambiguity. Try to make the grayed-out center portion of the bake a little more nominally black, maybe? And try of diminish the dark haloing around the palms? This is borderline of very special. |

UNDERDOG- Here he comes to save the day! by kellmak10Comment: Welcome to the world of BLUE! I wonder if you even noticed the "tabs" on the collar of his costume look like blue-ribbon tabs? Anyway, congrats! I'm happy to see this very feel-good, whimsical image triumph. |
