Tone on this image is terrific. The ghostly balance between midground and sky is fantastic, the way the ghosting waves echo the hint of lightness at the horizon. The foreground, however, is killing you. For an experiment, crop out the entire foreground so there's just pale water through horizon to sky, and see how much more evocative the image is. Also, you have a dust blob near the horizon halfway to the left edge from the center :-)

I guess this was the challenge for "foggy" wasn't it? And there I was out there in almost constant fog and mist, and I went INLAND to get sunlight on the hills, LOL. Wonderful shot, congrats on the red!
