One of the more effective soft-focus, semi-abstracts I've seen in DPC. It's refreshing to see a flower not represented literally, and the image is quite stunning. Good luck with it!

I got to love this one. What a unique take ont he challenge! It's not quite sharom which hurts it a fair amount. Still, I admire the breadth of this and I admire you for entering it. I hope it does better than i suspect it is doing. 8 from me.

Standing Guard

This is a beautifully cpatured image, the tonalities are to die for. I wish it were not cropped so tight to the main pillar on the bottom, and I wish the arch were completed at the top. There's also a very off sense that this is laning over tot he right. I say "odd" because checking with an alignment aid shows that most of the verticals are indeed vertical. Oddly enough, the one in the BG next to the guard is not... Whatever... Nice shot!
