Gaviotaby ZoomdakComment: If you GOT to shoot a sunset, may as well shoot this one :-) I'm basically ignoring *just another sunset* shots, but this one's so pure I have to score it top tier; it's *more* than a sunset. Extraordinary reflections, fine spacing of the birds on the diagonal. Shot feels a little leaning-to-the-right to me, though... Nice work! |

We are happy, while we watch the sunsetting view, and we will chase away all your blues!by tolovemoonComment: I'm really not sure how well this fits the challenge, but I keep coming back to it and giggling. I can't really say that *what you shot* is beautiful, you're not *showing* me beauty, but I *do* keep looking at the picture and saying "Boy, that's whacky-but-beautiful!" so I guess it *is* meeting the challenge, eh? Anyway, I like it a whole hell of a lot and hope you do better than i expect you will. |

mystic river by arngrimurComment: Very nice, good to see I'm not the only shooter that thinks moody = beauty. I hope it does well. |

Thrillby Dax-Comment: This is lovely and mysterious. It would seem you CREATED beauty here, out of whole cloth. Strong entry in my eyes. |

Seeking a Perchby OlyuziComment: This is quite extraordinary. Technically it's riddled with flaws, but it's a drop-dead capture of a stunning moment, made perfect by the bird flying into the light and slyly augmented by the tiny background bird in the other light patch. Strong score, well-seen. |

Father Skyby ElGordoComment: It made me say "Wow! That's beautiful!" so it gets a strong score from me, even though the foreground is so ugly as to beggar comparison with the sky... Maybe that's what you WANTED, but I suspect you came across this on the fly and didn't have many options. |

Dreaming of sky lilliesby Prime_TimeComment: I admire what you're trying to do here, and I am scoring this well, but in my eyes the image falls short of what it might be, primarily because the flower, which is the strongest single element, is both blown-out and completely out of focus. I understand youw anted the whole thing to be soft, and I have no problem witht hat, but the flower is the SOFTEST thing in the image, and I wish it were vice versa. |

Love in Bloomby mocabelaComment: This is really strong, a flower that's so much more than a flower. The image and the framing both stand out. I'd wish the one sark spor upper right on the flower were not there, though... Very strong entry, hope it does well. |

Early morning Blues by XileboComment: It makes me stop and say "That's beautiful!", which is what the challenge is all about. Wonderful sense of flowing motion, really fine lighting. As an aside, it's VERY strange how the brown horse *appears* to have a white head :-) Should do very well int he challenge. |
