This is also very nice, but perhaps a bit too agressive on the saturation and a bit too contrasty for best effect as well.

A very nice image. The colors are perhaps a tad too posterized, but that's a personal judgment. I don't agree that the sky should be darker per se, but I do think applying a little gradient to it would help, from a deeper blue to transparent on the selected sky area alone.

Taking A Moment

This is an "almost" in my book. It's very nice, but compositionally it's a little off for me. Horizon too close to centered, lighthouse too close to centered, wave line too close to centered... Everything except the surfer is forcing us to that wave/lighthouse interface. The sky seems an afterthought, sort of... The little curl of light on a wavelet behind the surfboard (or is that driftwood?) is quite distracting too. Try cloning out that "driftwood" and cropping out half the sky, and watch how it changes the dynamics of the composition dramatically. Still, a strong entry, lovely light. Well seen!

For my taste, the best of the fisheyes. Really nicely framed, wonderful distribution of negative and positive spaces, nearly a centered composition but out of kiler a little bit in everyw ay. Good work!

I like this very much. I might like it more if the blue coat were desatted a bit more, but all in all it's an intrigiuning image that keeps me looking. I liek that no faces are visible.

I just love this one, it's palpably exhilirating. I'm assuming you were sitting in a kayak on top of a car? Or the camera was mounted there anyway... The pure symmetry of the tiedowns is a grace note that strikes me. And of course the image is TOTALLY centered, symmetrical, which is a no-no in DPC terms so yoi get poitns for me just 'cuz you made it work.
