Wonderful. As this loaded from top to bottom, I was thinking "What kind of pen is he writing with" when the full photo loaded, I was pleased to see. You put some thought into this shot, and I think that it shows. Focus and clarity are just awesome. Really nice job. The angle and framing/cropping are perfect in my opinion. Nice tones, and the lamp adds to the shot as well. One of my favorites so far. ~Heather~

Your focus doesn't seem to be quite in the right place in my personal opinion. I think I would like for it to be a little bit lower, to show more of the SU deffinition in focus. Right now, the def. above is more in focus. I mean, you can still read it, but it's kind of annoying. The color is good, and I like the tilt of the photo. The angle and fill the frame framing are nice. Focus is really nice, but to me, in the wrong place. Overall nice. ~Heather~

To me, this photo is too much of the same color. I know this sounds strange, but I think that the axe almost dissapears into the background. The shirt is pink, when my mind wants it to be white. The jeans almost get lost into the background as well. I think that I would like a bit more tones. Not really sure if that's possible inside your camera, but definately when the challenge is done and over with, I hope you are able to edit in a larger variety of tones. As for the challenge, I think it fits nicely. Definately looks older, and I like the clothing as well as I think that adds to the oldness feeling of the photo. Overall a nice shot, just got some color issues in my personal opinion. ~Heather~

This is a very clear, crisp photo. I think you did an excellent job with the focus here. The lighting is also a large benefit to your photo, as I think it enhances the colors and focus. I think that the little patches of blue poking through the photo really add some interest to the shot, although not a direct interest, had the entire photo been all tan, I think it would have been a bit of a boring shot, so the blue is a definate plus to the shot. Great angle and framing/cropping. I think this is an excellent shot, not much to complain about here. Good one. ~Heather~

The angle and framing/cropping of this shot are nice. I do like the colors, but not of the sky. Not really much you can do about that, but it still bothers me a bit. Not really the most ideal sky for a wonderful subject like this. I wish there weren't people all over the shot, but another thing you really have no control over. your focus and clarity are really good, and I think that the rest of the shot works for me as well. You did a nice job of leveling your far water horizon. This is something that bothers me to no end, and you did a great job. ~Heather~

This is an excellent shot. I really love the focus and clarity. I think that is what makes the shot for me. You have a really beautiful model. I think she did an excellent job with this shoot, and I bet she had fun with it as well. Definately shows times gone by. Black and white works wonderfully here. I did see the DQ request on this one and saw the info you entered, and want to commend your model mostly for her age. Wonderful.
Also, commend you on the photo, this one stands out in the crowd to me. I like the softness the DOF creates here. The necklace being soft, and the veil being crisp really works for me. The closeness is also great. Congrats on a great photo! ~Heather~

I like the way we are looking up toward the top of the booth. Not only does it make it interesting to look at, but it also leads our eye to what I feel is the oldest looking part of the booth. The writing at the top. Also, I like how the leaves are covering the door to the right of the photo. I assume this is the door because this is where the hinges are. This increases the oldness of the booth as well.. The colors are really good. I think that the red/green combo is quite attractive. The lighting is also good. Focus and clarity good as well. Overall a really nice shot. No complaints from me. ~Heather~

To be perfectly honest, this isn't the most exciting shot I've seen. Not really much to grab my attention. I think that in person it might have some effect, but as a photo, it just doesn't grab me. However, I think that you did a nice job of taking this photo. The lighting is good, no bright spots or distracting dark areas. Focus appears to be just fine, and actually I think that the crack is a little more interesting than the drawing its self. I might have prefered if the subject were off center a bit and not so centered.

I have never seen such a pretty rainbow in my life. I have seen a double rainbow before, but not one so wide and bright. Stunning. Would love to have seen this one in person.
The angle and framing/cropping are ok, but I think I would prefer to have the bottom cropped off. I think that the extra color at the bottom of the photo takes away from the colors of the rainbow.
As stated a couple other times, I don't think that they have big ol mountains like this in Kansas, or Oz for that matter, but I supose it's not exactly easy to pick where you put a rainbow. lol
The color is perfect. I think that without that bottom section of road and ground, that the color would be even more powerful though.
The focus and clarity appear to be just great. I think that, as you state in your comments, the grainyness hurts the shot a bit, however, still beautiful.
Glad you could capture this one, but it's probably not one you're likely to forget any time soon anyway.

I really loved this the first time I saw it, and I still really love it. I don't think it's too dark at all. I think that the teeth just peeking out of the darkness is perfect. Maybe a little light for an eye would be cool, but I'm sure this wasn't exactly a piece of cake.
The focus is dead on. I really like how the background is blurred a bit and the focus on the dino is very crisp and sharp.
The lighting is wonderful. I think that it makes the photo.
Angle and framing/cropping are also great. I wonder though if there might be a little too much space on the right. As a photo, it seems unbalanced, however, it's not suposed to be a photo, it's suposed to be a movie, and maybe it works just fine as is.
Not really much more to say, I wish I could offer more in the way of improvement, but I really do like it as is. Even with the bonus time I get to spend with this shot, I believe it's still a 10 from me.
Great job. ~Heather~
