The Rabbitby neenee1999Comment: Not really sure the background works for my here. I think I would like to see all one color for the background. I like the addition of the oriental letters. Kind of makes it tie in with the whole "chinese" zodiac theme, although I have no clue what it says or even what language it is. Your focus on the bunny is good, and Lighting is good, although there is a bit of a distracting shadow from the bunny on the darker 1/2 of the background. Overall good though. |

Hey Daddy!by relgraphicsComment: Seems a bit bright for my personal taste, but definately cute! The point of view is good and the subject is beautiful. I'd like to see this less bright on the white house, and also maybe a bit sharper focus on the baby's eyes. I'd love for the eyes to just pierce right through us. Nice shot. ~Heather~ |

Picture windowby geewhyComment: Beautiful, and lovely point of view. I'd love to see this in fall or summer. Seems like it's a bit chilly here, and the trees aren't leafy much. I love how the light comes in on the wall inside, and your focus and clarity are great for the mood of the photo. great spot for a photo op. Good luck in the challenge. ~Heather~ |

On the Dance Floorby KevinRiggsComment: The feet are very nice. I like the from the floor point of veiw. The legs look strange to me though. Kind of 'not real' looking. Especially the right leg. I'm not sure why it looks like this, maybe it's the texture from the tights? They seem flat, like they have no dimensions, and depth. Your focus is really great on the feet, and the connection to the challenge is strong. A great idea for the challenge. ~Heather~ |

Pushing Lightby mighty_bisonComment: It's an interesting photo, but I'm not sure how I get the relation to point of view. I'm thinking that for this challenge that we were suposed to use the way we see something to enhance how we view our subject. In this shot, although it is a very nice shot... *stops in mid sentence* Ok, I get it now. I thought it was a desk lamp, but it's a hanging light. Kind of tricky. The lighting is what this photo is all about, and it is very nice. Focus and clarity are also good. the point of view didn't jump right out at me, but it is definatly there. Nice shot. ~Heather~ |

Drinking from the bottleby TruegshtComment: It is an interesting point of view, however, I'm not sure that the photo triggers anything for me. There is a lot more fuzzy area than actual subject, and the subject is so tiny, that it doesn't seem like a point of interest to me. I think that I wish the opening were larger and that there were less of the inside of the bottle showing. Otherwise, interesting idea for the challenge. ~Heather~ |

Tweakyby Photolover081603Comment: did you use flash? kind of looks like it the way the cats face is blown out and the rest of the photo is dark. flash, or a really powerful lamp with directed light. anyway, I do think the face has gotten too bright. focus on the kat is a little soft, but the focus on the seat of the chair is great. see how we get a lot of texture on the seat? I wish we could have that texture on the cat instead. looks like the auto focus focussed on the seat instead of the cat. good point of view. I like looking down on things in photos like this. ~Heather~ |

Object in Mirrorby irockstarsComment: It's a good point of view...but there really isn't anything to look at in the pic. the view isn't of anything interesting. I don't want to sound like a jerk when I say that, but there's some powerlines, snow, and the butt end of a car, that we really can't see much of anyway. maybe if there were something to look at IN the mirror, it would have more of an impact on me. even a snowman or something would have been somewhat interesting. I think your idea was good, looking throught the mirror, but we really need something to look at. ~Heather~ |

untitledby JediKaitiComment: well..it's a photo of an engine that has some hot spots and some dark shadows, both of which hinder detail. i'm not seeing your interesting point of view. when I pictured 'interesting point of view' I thought about wow factor. I thought about looking at the shot, and saying 'wow...great point of view'. focus seems a bit soft too.probably a result of the poor lighting. just not my kind of shot. that's just a personal preference though. |

My Little Chickadeeby vtruanComment: your little chickadee is cute, but i'm not seeing how the point of view makes this any more interesting. the background looks a bit grainy, and the dark bottom left corner is a bit of a distraction to the bird. I like the blue tint over the image. There is the strong impression of coldness in this shot, and that is good. I like strong impressions. Focus and clarity are good...just not really seeing an interesting point of view. not the kind I have pictured in my own head anyway. still a nice image though. ~Heather~ |
