This looks like a couple things to me. First, it looks like that building that (I can't remember his name) keeps winnind ribbons with. And it also looks like stairs to a swimming pool. I like the colors, and the shadows are a nice touch in this shot. The texture of the blue though makes the shot look grainy. Nice focus and the angle and framing are good as well. Definately abstract looking. ~Heather~

Looks like a photo taken out of an airplane that was turned on it's side. It does look pretty abstract, but I would have guessed that on the first look. Maybe I'm wrong, who knows. Anyway, definately abstract. I wish the colors were a bit brighter. the seems muted a bit. Otherwise, it's interesting to look at. I like the 3d look of it. definately has depth. ~Heather~

Not a clue what this is, so definately abstract. I tried a crop without the green part, and that looked pretty neat too. Just the blue and white. I think your focus is good for this shot, and the colors definatley punch. Lighting seems alright. Overall pleasing to look at so I say good job. ~Heather~

Looks like water on a window or glass of some sort. I wonder how this would work with something interesting on the other side of the glass. (if in fact this is what it is) Say something with bright colors, or an interesting pattern or something. Right now, I just see a dark 'stick' that runs through the dead center of the image. Maybe if you couldn't get something interesting on the other side, at least move the dark thing to one side or another. maybe make it diagonal or something. Seems dull as is. ~Heather~

abstract doesn't have to mean blurred beyond recognition. I think this is inappropriate blurring here. Had this been in focus, I think it would have been more appealing to me. I like the color, and the waves coming from the object are ok, the crop is different, and lighting appears to be fine, I just wish i could SEE this better. ~Heather~

while I picture this to be a 3d object, the image seems very flat. I see where texture should be, but as I said, very flat. not sure how you could bring this out more. maybe side lighting? colors are interesting, althought maybe slightly dark. Focus and clarity are really good. nothing blurred that shouldn't be in my opinion. Overall definately abstract, just wish it had more depth. ~Heather~

I like it. Don't know what it is, but the photo is very nicely taken, and interesting to look at as well. Great focus and clarity. The angle at which you took the photo is nice, and the placement of the subject (whatever it is) is nice as well. Overall a very pleasing image and definately abstract. The thumbnail doesn't do this justice at all. The thumb looks like a horribly distorted flower image, of which I've seen enough of so far. The large image here really shines. whatever it is, I like the little circular patterns and the colors are nice. This is pleasing to look at. Different, nice color, and definately abstract. I think the lighting is good. I wonder how this would work with a solid background though. I see that it's another one of these things that is in the background, and it works alright, but would like to see it with a simple, plain, one colored background. Your dof is alright and focus is good on the spikey things. color is nice and placement of the main subject is nice as well. Overall, nice abstract. ~Heather~
