I want some of that! lol. Fun shot. focus and clarity are good, and the angle and framing/cropping you chose is also good. I like how you placed the cards and money. I can't say this is the only shot of cards in the challenge, but still ok. I like the background, nothing distracting there. Overall a fun shot. ~Heather~

Creepy looking birds. Funny shot though. The whole photo is too grey. not very much tonal range. any way to boost up the white without blowing parts of the photo out? kind of reminds me of a photo which is in a newspaper. really grey, you know? I like how the birds are set up, I think that's funny. The background is good, nothing distracting there. ~Heather~

Kind of cute, but why are they outside on what looks like a roof? seems a bit odd product placement to me. Like the commercial that has the breast enlargement pills sitting in a stream of really cold looking water. what?? lol. anyway, I like the colors, and they look good against the sky...the lower 1/4 of the photo is not appealing to me, and I think could be cropped out without any bad side effects. focus and calrity seem good and otherwise, a nice fun shot. ~Heather~

My brain wants to tell me that the 7 pills laying on the table are subject, but there are more than 7 pills in the photo. Sooo...since there are 7 days in the week, and 7 little cups for pills, I'll say this meets the challenge. On that note, I don't find it very interesting though. Guess I'm just not drawn in. Maybe it's cause I have to take 9 different medications a day, and find the subject just unappealing. The lighting on the pills is also very bright and the pills closest to the bottom of the photo are quite blown out and too bright. Focus seems a bit soft on the pills, but ok on the orange pill box. background color makes the photo also seem like the white balance was off. definately a different take on the challenge though. ~heather~

I wonder if anyone is going to be a jerk enough to count the noteBOOK as a book, and say you don't meet the challenge. lol. Some people amaze me these days with how picky they are with these challenges. Anyway, I like the feel of this photo. Looks very educational. Focus and clarity are good, and the angle and framing/cropping are good as well. I like the darkness of the photo, but the brightness of the whites. makes it interesting that way. I would not remove or add anything to the photo. I like the cup and glasses, and it is not too busy, but gives the eyes lots to look at. nice. ~Hether~

Very nice shot. Not quite sure the purpose of the little man, but he does help to add something interesting to the shot as well...it's now not JUST a photo of some cards. The background is very nice, I like the blue. Focus and clarity are really great on the cards, and DOF is good as well. I think that I do like this shot, my only tiny nitpic is the black line across the bottom of the photo in the lower left hand corner. Kind of a distraction in an otherwise bright and fun photo. I think I'm missing something, because I'm not seeing 7 of anything in this shot. I see 1 house, with 8 chimneys, 2 roofs, 11 windows, one fence, one driveway, a mountain with 8 humps, a sky and some water. I have looked at this for a long time, and do not see 7 of any subject. Sorry. Now, as for the photo itself, it's stunning...I couldn't imaging having that view. very beautiful. the angle and framing/cropping is nice, and the scene is great. My only small complaint is that the house seems to be a bit dark. Overall lthough, very nice. ~Heather~

I came across this shot the other day, and wasn't sure what I could say about it. What I wanted to say was that you can't really see all the leaves well, and the bottom leaf on the left has some really strange motion marks on it. trailing from the top. I don't think I prefer that. Not sure what purpose it plays. I like the color of the shot, and the lighitng is interesting, just not quite bright enough on the right side leaves. I like the lighting on the bottom left leaf, just not the lines coming from the top of it. overall very interesting shot though, and fits the challenge. ~Heather~

I can't really tell what that little figuring is, which makes it distracting. It kind of looks like a little pewter girl, but I'm not sure. She's awefully dark and small. doesn't seem to fit in well with the cards. I think if it were not there, it wouldn't hurt the photo at all in my opinion. I like the card tower, and there are definately 7 cards. focus appears good, and there is nothing distracting in the background. ~Heather~

That last one kind of blend into the background, not knowing that I am suposed to be looking for 7 of them, I may not even notice it at all. The lighting on that post to the right of the photo is harsh, making that post stand out quite a bit. I think that the DOF is good, and focus is right where it should be. the horizontal post running through the center of the photo is distracting. I think that the color of the barbs is cool, and looks good against the color of the background. interesting take on the challenge, wish we could see that last barb better. ~Heather~
