Rubba Dub Dubby GotchaComment: Those shoes would have come off at the door!!! LOL. I like how there are the bubbles flying around the bathroom. Not realistic, but definately a great touch. Not sure if I get the significance of the life savers, other than the fact that kids love them. The angle and set up are great. Lighting is great. Through out the challenges, I am surprised to see how many photos are taken in the bathroom. I wonder if it's because of the lighting in the bathroom?? Really nice job and good luck in the challenge. |

Independence!by focusComment: They sure didn't make them like this when I was a kid. well, at least I didn't have one. I like the different angle you used, without having to photograph the entire bicycle, you got the point across very nicely. Definately depicts childhood. Lighting is great. Good luck in the challenge. |

Puddle Stompersby bdshortComment: Looks fun. We had some crappy weather here in Michigan the week we were suposed to be shooting for the childhood challenge, and it kind of messed up the shot I wanted, and I had thought about doing something like this. You did a great job with this photo. The lighting and angle are great. Looks like you might have done a bit of saturatin editing to "b&w" most of the photo to bring out the boots. I could be wrong, but either way, I like the effect. Great job with this photo and good luck in the challenge. |

Unlikely encounterby gkochComment: Really cool. I love the motion in this. Definately depict how children aren't always very nice with their toys. I just have to wonder how many times you hit that poor guy on the horse before you got the right picture. lol. Looks like it's going really fast, but would have to be a really powerful car to go that fast on carpet. Great job and good luck in the challenge. |

Child's Playby quarxComment: The bottom of the photo looks like it's got some color problem. Like when you set a photo to have only a sertain amount of colors. It looks like it was an upload problem though, because it is o nly in the bottom inch or so of the photo. Strange. Oh well, not your fault, so I can't count that against you, or your pic. I love the "play" in this photo. My son also loves the photo cause of the dinosaur. The lighting is great for this photo and I like how the background is black. Great depiction of childhood. Good luck in the challenge. |

"Left In The Rain"by wheatabixComment: I love the focus on this. You can see individual drops of water. The color is great and I like the angle. Looks like it's been sharpened, but great job. Depicts childhood perfectly. Good luck in the challenge. |

Toys et al.by titotapadoComment: Definately represents childhood. It kind of looks like it was composed quickly. I think it would have more visual impact if the animals/toys were sitting up straight and easier to see. there are a few toys in the middle at the bottom that are kind of hard to tell what they are. The little fairey blends in with the ride on toy making her hard to see, and I can't tell what she's laying on at all. I know where you were going with the baby's room being the background, but I would also like to see this on a plain background for comparrison. The lighting is great. you did a great job of keeping reflection and glare off the objects. Sometimes, that's the hardest part. Good luck in the challenge. |

Wheeeeeby daysezComment: I think I'm a complete idiot here...I think this is a photo taken while riding on one of those tire swings that is connected horisontally by a set of 3 chains. I'm not really sure why it looks like we are looking through glass there in the distance, but I think it could be motion blur? I am sure this has a lot more meaning to you, as you were there, but as for me, I'm stumped. I really apologize, I will keep looking, and recomment again by the end of the week. Good luck in the challenge. |

Yes, sir!by stephanComment: simple and to the point. I love the concept behind this photo, but in my opinion it is too bright. the buckle is almost washed away. I love the placement in the frame and how the background is non existant, however, I have the feeling the background is the reason for the photo being brightened so much. Overall good photo and good luck in the challenge. |
