Creepy looking shot. I was surprised to see 3 of these this week. I think this was my favorite, although I'm not really sure why. I think the colors are niceer and it's a little more graphic and detailed. Your focus is great. Angle and framing/cropping are also good. Nice job with filling the whole photo with the subject. I love the colors in this shot. The cloth under the nut bowl is very nice, and the grey nut bowl stands out nicely on that cloth, then the nuts stand out nicely on the grey nut bowl. kind of a 3d photo. Your use of black and white works quite nicely here. This is definately appropriate for the garbage challenge. This is aweful. There are quite a few photos this week of garbage just sitting out ruining nature. This photo definately provokes a though/emotion in me, so you have done a good job with that. Definately garbage, so fits the challenge. I found a lack of creativity in a lot of photos this week, but I also understand there isn't a whole lot of exciting things you can do with garbage. I know there was some fuss about this in the forums, however, I don't think it is trying to say what people automatically thought it was suposed to say. I don't think that if you were going to go to such lengths to bash religion (as people thought), that you would have access to a bible of this magnitude and of the objects inside the bible. I'm not a religious person myself, so I can't tell what passages it's opened up to, nor could I begin to understand them. This is a technically well done photo, and THAT is what I'm judging on here. I love the angle and the lighting really creates a mood. Overall, I think you have created a technically well done, nice to look at shot. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~

Maybe once upon a time. lol. This one has definately had it. I like the angle and framing/cropping here, but I think the focus is a bit soft for me. maybe if there were a bit more lighting, then the "details" of the couch might come out a bit more. I find this photo funny for personal reasons. My husband works for the coca cola/minute maid plant. You have here, the Pepsi/tropicana stuff. LOL. This looks just like my recycling bin, only with the oposite products. love the angle, and the focus and clarity are good. The framing/cropping are appropriate for this shot. Nice job! Pizza Hut

I guess I'm failing to see the pizza part of this photo. There is definately garbage in the shot. The main focus to me seems the child, as the child is really the only thing in focus. The lighting is good for this shot though. I like the angle and framing/cropping. My only complaint is the focus, and the blurry spot near the bottom right corner. Overall a nice mood though.
