Well, I'm not sure I get the title here, but the title isn't really what matters. This is a well focused, very clear shot of garbage, and that is what matters. The angle and framing/cropping are nice. At first I thought I might want to see more of the can, but after thinking about it, I like it like this. I think this would have been a really great shot if there wasn't so much shadow on the middle of the apple. Maybe a side light could have helped fix that, unless you were trying for the shadow, in that case, I'll just say that it doesn't work for me. I like the surrounding, not too busy, but not boring either. the green plant adds some nice extra color, and there are some pretty nice patterns in the background. Nice shot. Good question. The answer? Convienience. Cause it's easier than walking 3 feet to some kind of trash receptacle. This is a very pretty area. How funny. doesn't it always work out this way? I love the colors here. the writing on the fence looks really neat. There is definately garbage, and it's pretty pleasing to look at. I like this kind of shot. A generally ugly subject that is pleasing to look at. This photo also has some documentary purposes in my opinion. Really nice shot. I can find only one spot that is really in focus here. The rest seems to be real blurry. I can tell that it's crumpled white paper, but is it garbage? Has it been used? I would like to have seen more or this, or from more of a side shot. There doesn't really seem to be enough light directed on the subject to bring out much detail here. Could this be considered recycled art? lol. Certainly looks like a fish though. Definately garbage, and not the typical garbage shot, so I give you extra credit there. That is some serious negative space. I like the angle and framing/cropping here. The white space really draws my eyes down to look at the crushed can.
