Black Light Scorpionby hblakeComment: I heard that these guys lit up under a black light...just never seen it before. nice capture. the scary thing is, I really believe he's real. ew! creepy. Love the angle and framing/cropping you have chosen here. love the source of light. works perfectly. Your focus is very nice as well. Good thing he wasn't moving fast. Nice shot. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~ |

Bathing Beautiesby CLarson557Comment: I think I would have liked this better without the carnation. To me, it seems out of place and actually a bit too bright for the rest of the photo. The roses however are great. I really like the angle on them, and the framing/cropping are good as well. Focus might be a tad soft, but I can't complain, as the focus was the hardest for me in this challenge. Overall nice shot. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~ |

Velvet candle lightby Pep VentosaComment: Very nice set up. I like the way this looks. The red in the back is obvious without being overdone. Your angle and framing/cropping are very nice, and the focus seems good as well. it MIGHT be a bit soft on the fuzzies in the very front, but it's not a big deal at all. The lighting works very nicely for the mood here. Nice one! Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~ |

A Jarby vrattComment: Why, yes it is. But a lovely jar at that. I love the color and the curved lines are great. I think it seems a slight bit tilted, and your backdrop could use some ironing. Other than that though, everything else is very nice. The focus is good, the framing/cropping are great. Lighting is wonderful. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~ |

Bairnsby marboComment: Cute kids. The little girl looks like Pippa from the Stephen King movie Storm of the Century. The lighting is good. I like the angle and framing/cropping you have chosen here. With the size restrictions of the site, I know it wouldn't be legal, but outside of the challenge, I would like to see this with a bit cut off the top. to make it challenge legal, however, I think you could crop a bit off the right to even it out and still keep the size limit. Overall nice shot. And wonderful models. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~ |

The Middle Childby kosmikkreeperComment: I think that the focus is perfect on the green one, and as I can tell your DOF is intentional, the focus is perfect throughout the photo. The background helps the pins to stand out a bit more. The angle and framing/cropping is great. I like how you have them all lined up. I wonder though why the 4 back ones are so evenly spaced, and the blue one is really far away from the red one? Overall a nice shot. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~ |

Michael Reneby SatelliteSpeckComment: He does not look happy at all to be having his photo taken. I really like the angle and framing/cropping you have chosen. The backdrop is nice, although I feel that his shirt blends into the shadows a bit too much, as does his hair. Other than that though, it is a well though out, well executed photo, your focus is very nice. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~ |

Lovers Touchby NatashaComment: Have to say this is a really great idea. Similar to mine this week. Excelent source of light. Love the angle and framin/cropping you have chosen for this. I wonder how many people wont take the time to find out what they are looking at. Took me a sec, but I love it. Your focus is great as well. Great shot. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~ |

Sam and Elaineby quarxComment: Your lighting source seems to be coming from the bottom of these little cuties. That could be just fine, except that it leaves them With really dark eyes. I think that from this angle, the eyes are a great, important part that stands out, and with them darkened in with shadow, it kind of takes away the that impact. We have almost completely lost one of Sams eyes. Otherwise, your focus and angle and framing/cropping are excelent. Nice shot! Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~ |

Old Jeepby gcosueComment: I'm curious as to the light source, as this jeep appears to have 2 seperate shadows. One shadow directly under the jeep, the other in a SE direction. It is possible to achieve this with other methods, so I can only take your word that it was done with one light source. The angle and framing/cropping you have chosen is nice. Looks almost like this was taken in a museum. Your focus is very nice. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~ |
