In my personal opinion, the trees are a bit dark, and the white sky doesn't appeal to me. I have that same stupid white sky in my shot too though, so who am I to talk? I don't like it in my shot either. Definately appears to be "non humanly altered". Overall I think it's an ok shot. Good luck in the challenge.

Running Water

I could say that the only reason that this water looks like this is because of human intervention. NO WHERE will you find water that naturally occurs like this. However, I supose if I were to be THAT picky, then I'd have to complain about all the shots cause they were taken with a camera. So, I wont be. That being said, I think it's a nice shot, but I still don't prefer the water to look like this. It's technically well done, but not my cup of tea. Definately a nature shot for sure. I think that the lighting is good, and the angle and framing/cropping are good as well. Overall it's a nice shot. Good luck in the challenge.

While it was created inside the camera, I simply don't like it. Each little TINY picture is too small to get any detail from at all. I can't tell if that's a nest, or a dead flower/plant. I really have no interest in seeing 9 of basically the same image. The image its self is just too small. Sorry.

Tight Race

Well, I'll make the "investigation" a bit easier. The horizon tilts to the right. It's not enough to be a dramatic tilt (on purpose) so to me it just looks a bit sloppy. I'm not claiming to be a horizon expert or anything, I don't get mine perfect either, but it IS an observation that can't be overlooked. Sorry I mentioned it 3 times in my comment, but I wanted to state that other than the horizon, I really liked the angle that you took this photo at.
Anyway, sorry if my comment bothered anyone.

There are quite a few of this kind of shot in this challenge, but I think yours stands out as something special. You have red white and blue, and even the stars. It's an abstract american flag! An interesting shot. Good luck in the challenge.
